BGE Signs Florida State All-American & ACC POY Hank Lebioda
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ATLANTA, GA, May 31, 2016
Blue Giraffe Sports (BGS), a leading sports and entertainment management, marketing and brand consultation firm based in Atlanta, Ga and West Palm Beach, FL is pleased to announce the signing of 2016 ACC Player of the Year, Hank Lebioda, of Winter Springs, Fla.
Under Trey Jones at Florida State University Lebioda became a four-year Letterman, two-time All-American and four-time All-ACC selection. In March Lebioda won the Seminole Intercollegiate and added seven other top 20’s from 10 events the remainder of the regular season. He posted a team-low scoring average of 70.94 and finished the year ranked 21 in the Golfweek collegiate rankings and 19 in the Scratch World Amateur Rankings.
Lebioda stated, “I am excited to begin my professional career. As I transition to this new part of the game, I’m honored to have Blue Giraffe with me every step of the way. I know that I will have world-class service and expertise guiding me along this journey. I look forward to a long and healthy career.”
And while these accomplishments are impressive on their own, they become even more so considering Lebioda was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease midway through his freshman year in Tallahassee. Today he is the picture of good health thanks to a strict diet and medication program. He looks forward to using his status as a professional athlete to bring awareness to the Crohn’s Disease which affects an estimated 1.4 million Americans, many of whom are under the age of 30.
Lebioda starts his professional career this week on Mackenzie Tour (PGA Tour Canada) in Victoria, British Columbia where he will compete the remainder of 2016. He has signed with Acushnet to play Titleist equipment and wear Footjoy apparel and shoes.
