ATLANTA, GA, June 30, 2017

Blue Giraffe Sports (BGS), a leading sports and entertainment management, marketing, and brand consultation firm based in Atlanta, Ga. and West Palm Beach, FL is pleased to announce the signing of two newly minted professionals, Florida State’s Cristobal Del Solar and James Madison’s Ryan Cole.

Del Solar, from Vina Del Mar, Chile, is the number 23 ranked amateur in the world according the Scratch World Amateur Rankings and the number 2 ranked South American. He was recently named a Golfweek Third Team All-American and finished the 2016/17 collegiate season ranked 21 in the country by Golfweek and 26 by Golfstat. He led the Seminoles this season with a 71.06 scoring average and won the Irish Creek Intercollegiate in April. He recorded four other top 10s his senior season including a runner-up finish at the Rod Myers Invitational. Impressively, he ever finished out of the top 30 in any event he played. He joins former Seminole All-American teammate Hank Lebioda on the Blue Giraffe roster.

“I am excited to sign with Blue Giraffe,” Del Solar said. “Their history of working with the best from South America convinced me they were the perfect group to represent me as a professional.”

Cole, a native of Mount Airy, Maryland, was a model of consistency during his historic career at James Madison. He was an Honorable Mention All-American as a junior while setting the JMU single season scoring record of 70.59 in the process. He barely missed eclipsing that mark as a senior, posting a 70.84 scoring average in 2016/17. Both seasons he was named a NCAA Regional All American. Over 12 events in 2016/17 he recorded a remarkable 9 top 15 finishes including a win at the Camden Collegiate Invitational and two runner-up finishes. He was a five-time individual champion while at JMU and finished his career as one of the most decorated players in the history of the Colonial Athletic Association.

“I had a great time as a college player, but I’m itching to get started as a professional and really make my mark in the pro ranks,” Cole said. “Blue Giraffe were great to me during the recruiting process and really made me feel like they will have my back.”

Both Del Solar and Cole will play the remainder of the 2017 season on the Mackenzie Tour (PGA Tour Canada) before embarking on the Tour Qualifying Tournament in the fall.
