Mathis
"plays down" to 3rd Place at Nationwide
Tour Rex Hospital Open

BGS Client, David
Mathis, took advantage
of what could have been a week off to compete in the
Nationwide Tour Rex Hospital Open
at TPC Wakefield near Raleigh, NC this past week.
Even though he is an exempt member of the PGA Tour,
David was not in the field at the Crowne Plaza Invitational
@ Colonial, so he chose to "play down" on
the Nationwide Tour. This decision gave him home course
favor and earned him a third place finish and $35,700
for finishing at -15 for the week.
Justin
Bolli enjoyed his best finish of the
2009 season with an 11th place finish at twelve under
par for the week. Brad
Fritsch made the most of a sponsor's
exemption to finish 30th at his home course. These
much needed earnings will assist both players as the
Nationwide Tour prepare to reshuffle standings for
tournament entry in the coming weeks. Henrik
Bjornstad started off hot in Raleigh
but cooled on the weekend for a 47th place finish.
Henrik is currently ranked #17 on the Nationwide Tour
Money List.

continues solid play with
T2nd
at Travelers Championship

Paul
Goydos continues his solid play
with another Top 5 finish at the Travelers
Championship. He continues to give himself
a chance at this third PGA Tour victory and entered
the final round at the top of the leaderboard. Despite
a final round 67, Paul could only watch as the winner
shot 63 on Sunday to jump past him.

standings and 34th on the PGA Tour Money List with

Roberto
Castro wins again at
Spring Creek Championship

Congratulations
to BGS Client, Roberto Castro
on his latest victory on the eGolf
Professional Golf Tour. The former
Georgia Tech standout birdied three of his
last four holes, including a birdie at the
par-5 18th. This win at the eGolf Professional
Tour's $300,000 Spring Creek Championship
in Gordonsville, Virginia earned him a $50,000
first-place prize, the largest of his young
professional career.
Castro, who won his first professional
tournament at the Spring Creek Classic at
the same venue in 2007, began the round
trailing by three, but knew from past experience
that a difficult final round lay in wait.
"I've played two tournaments here
before, and I knew the front nine pins would
be brutal the last day. So I kind of knew
that going in," said Castro. "The
back nine you can usually get at, so I kind
of hung in there on the front and knew I
could make some birdies on the back."
This win marks Robert's third victory in
on the eGolf Professional Tour since turning
professional in 2007.
