George School of Law at Mercer University.
A sports guy at heart, Matt started his career as Head Manager and Director of
Film Scouting for the Georgia Tech Basketball team under Coach Bobby Cremins. During his time with the team, he led a staff of eight managers whose duties
ranged from film scouting, practice planning, equipment orders, travel planning,
to many other day-to-day activities for players, coaches and staff. It is during his time at Georgia Tech that he became interested in sports management through his roommates who have played and coached in the NBA, Division 1 College Basketball, and on the PGA TOUR.
During law school, Matt interned in the sports field each summer with two terms spent in New York City at Wilhelmina Models in the Artist Management Division under BGS CEO, Bobby Kreusler. After graduating from Mercer, Matt took a job at Wilhelmina to help develop the sports side of the Artist Management Division. Matt decided to follow Bobby to co-found Blue Giraffe Sports in the fall of 2004.
Taking pride in doing things right in every aspect of the business, Matt works to keep the culture of Blue Giraffe family oriented. Matt resides in Roswell, GA with his wife and young son. In his spare time, he loves to run and spend time with his family.
